Induction Programme for Elected Members of Parliament

Following the return of the Writ for the 2022 General Election and in preparation for the first sitting of a new Term of Parliament, the Fijian Parliament secretariat is organising an Induction Programme for all 55 elected Members of Parliament.

The Induction Programme has been scheduled for Tuesday, 20 December 2022 at the Grand Pacific Hotel and it is aimed at preparing Members for the first sitting of Parliament.

Section 67(1) of the Fijian Constitution provides that after a General Election of Members of Parliament, the Parliament shall be summoned to meet by the President no later than 14 days after the announcement of the results of the General Election.
