At Noco Secondary School, school teacher Mrs Selai Vakacegu said the Speaker’s visit brought Parliament closer to the students.

“For the past two years, we have always made sure to bring our students to Parliament because it is part of our present curriculum but today, you have indeed brought the prestigious institution down to us and for that, we are very much appreciative,” she said.

“We admire your success and indeed, you are a role model to all of us.”

Meanwhile, the Speaker presented to both the schools her role as the head of the august House and also the workings of Parliament and how members of the public can better engage with Parliament.
