The Secretary-General to Parliament makes the following statement to clarify the contents of an article in today’s edition (Thursday 22^nd September) of the Fiji Sun entitled “MPs Linked to Alleged Sex Incident”:

The Department of Legislature has its own policies and procedures to be followed and that is currently being undertaken.

Any further decision will be made once the full result of the investigation is complete.

At this stage, the Office of the Secretary-General will make no further comments on the matter.
