SUMMARY:RE-ADVERTISEMENT - INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
DESCRIPTION:In line with the provisions outlined in the Parliamentary Remunerations Act 2014\, Parliament has established the Emoluments Committee (‘Committee’) to review the salaries and allowances of Members of Parliament as provided for under the Parliamentary Remunerations Act 2014\, and the Emoluments Committee must report back to Parliament. \nThe Committee invites Expressions of Interest from interested persons/consultants/organisations to provide the following information together with their written submissions for the Committee to view and consider – \n(i) Proven capability in providing job evaluation analysis and review of salaries\, allowances and benefits;\n(ii) Professional credentials and/or references;\n(iii) Reference(s) of similar work undertaken;\n(iv) Detailed costing; and\n(v) Schedule of fees. \nThe scope of work is as follows – \n(i) Conduct a market analysis of MPs’ salaries\, allowances and benefits;\n(ii) Provide an opinion on the new salaries\, allowances and benefits;\n(iii) Any other analysis required by the Committee; and\n(iv) Provide a report to the Committee no later than 25 October 2023. \nFurther details can be obtained from Mr Sakiusa Rakai by email on sakiusa.rakai@legislature.gov.fj or by mobile 990 8833. \nAll Expressions of Interest may be emailed to Mrs Saleshni Prasad on saleshni.prasad@legislature.gov.fj or submitted in a sealed envelope before close of business on Friday\, 8 September 2023\, marked and addressed to – \nEOI – Emoluments Review \nThe Secretary-General to Parliament\nParliament Complex\nP.O.
