Government Departments can also use the Library with the prior approval of the Secretary-General although there are some lending restrictions. The Library can also be utilised by members of the general public for obtaining copies of all parliamentary publications.
Collection The Parliamentary Library with its limited resources has built up a steady collection of publications on local politics and other relevant issues of national importance, which includes a wide range of publications on important figures that have had an impact on Fiji's development and continues to expand its collection on leaders from around region to add to its Pacific collection. The Library has had to rely on donations from other Parliamentary Libraries and international aid agencies to expand its collection of foreign publications, which has increased steadily over the years. Help is available from the Issue Desk with Library Assistants available to provide directions and answer quick reference questions.
