The following editorial correction was made to the Bill by the Secretary-General prior to its enactment by Parliament on 18 October 2006:

Sub-clauses 20(6) and 20(7) of the Bill were merged to read as follows:

"(6) On the coming into operation of this Act, the members of the Council specified in subsection (7) who were appointed under the reprealed Decree shall be deemed to be appointed by the Minister under this Act, so however that the appointment of each such member shall terminate on such date as, but for this provision, it would have terminated under the repealed Decree.".

Sub-clauses 20(8) and 20(9) were renumbered 20(7) and 20(8) accordingly.
