Parliament Sitting to resume tomorrow – Wednesday, 2 June 2021

Following clearance received from the Ministry of Health and Medical Services and the completion of the disinfection protocols in the Parliament precincts, the Business Committee has decided that the Parliament sitting will resume tomorrow, Wednesday 2 June 2021 to Monday 7 June 2021, including Saturday 5 June 2021.

As per the arrangement last week, Parliament sittings will be conducted virtually with Members of Parliament either attending in-person or connecting remotely, to ensure full compliance to the current COVID-safe measures and protocols in place nationwide.

Access to the Parliamentary Complex will be limited only to Members of Parliament, authorised Government officials, authorised caucus and Parliament staff with strict adherence to the COVID-safe measures and protocols.

The Parliament sittings will be aired live on TV, and streamed on the Parliament’s website www.parliamentlive.gov.fj and on the Parliament Facebook page.
