The House Committee consists of the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, a Minister designated by the Prime Minister and not less than six other Members appointed by the Speaker.

This Committee considers the welfare of, and the provision of amenities for Members and shall perform such other related duties as the House may from time to time refer to it and shall report at least once every session.

The current Chairman of the Committee is the Hon. Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, Speaker to the House of Representatives.
