The Broadcast Licensing Bill No. 10/2006 was tabled in the House of Representatives for its first reading on 8 August 2006 and subsequently referred to the Sector Standing Committee on Administrative Services for review. The Committee completed its review and tabled its report in the House of Representatives on 11 September 2006, which passed the Bill with amendments on 28 November 2006. The Bill was still before the Senate when Parliament was dissolved on 5 December 2006.
