JOB TITLE: SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

Duties

  1. Ensure effective and efficient support services on HR issues are provided on daily basis in compliance with policies and regulations in place
  2. Supervising, motivating and monitoring of staff performance
  3. Facilitate and collate Annual Performance Assessment for the Department
  4. Facilitate all disciplinary matters for the Department
  5. Provide timely submissions and reports
  6. Proper maintaining and updating of electronic and manual information and record
  7. Contribute to the organization through provision of quality customer service and participation in initiatives to promote teamwork, employees’ health, safety and well-being and participation in selection panels

QUALIFICATION/COMPETENCIES/ KNOWLEDGE /EXPERIENCE

  1. Person Specification

An Undergraduate Degree in Management & Public Administration, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized institution.

  2. Reliable and accurate high level support services
  3. Achievement of quality outputs of the IWP and the HR Business Plan
  4. Timely submission of quality reports
  • Knowledge and Experience
  1. Have 3 years’ relevant work experience
  2. Practical working knowledge of HR practices
  3. Good understanding of the Fijian Constitution, relevant legislation, policies and practices

  2. Strong written and verbal communications including public relation skills
  3. Demonstrate ability to plan and organize effectively
  4. Ability to meet deadlines and achieve results
  5. Demonstrate ability to effectively supervise staff

  8. Demonstrate strong analytical skills
  9. Have service oriented approach
  10. Excellent computer skills

The successful applicant will be offered an attractive remuneration package which will be discussed during the interview.
